Zakhar Sasim, an artist whose work I newly love

Not long ago we saw this artist and his work at Eastern Market in DC and I was recently gifted with one of my two favorite paintings of his - one of the cherry blossoms in full bloom along the mall (unfortunately, not pictured on ZS’s web site). My other favorite is the one of Union Station on his home page.
