I arrived in Scotland this morning and, while waiting for my room to be ready, logged on to Facebook in the hotel lobby only to find that Facebook wants to know if (a) I speak English (UK) and (b) if I will participate in a translation project. Except I’m American. And, er, except for a few minor spellings and differences in word choice, the language is pretty much the same without a need to translate. Oh and please disregard the high # of unopened messages in my Inbox. This is why I prefer email or Twitter for messages. xo Debby
